Admissions
The application period for children due to start school in September 2025 is open and applications can be made here: Primary school places - Essex County Council
Supplementary Information Form - for parents who attend a local Christian Church to prove that they qualify for one of the first 20 places that we reserve in Foundation Stage for church families.

Mid- Year Applications
For potential entry to the school at any other point other than the start of September for new Foundation Stage places, from 1st April 2023, St. Michael's C.E. Primary school will run its own admissions procedure. This is known as a "Mid-Year Application" no matter when in the year it is or for what year group.

Appeals
If your child is not offered a place at your preferred school, you can appeal against the decision by contacting Essex County Council.
You will receive an email with the appeal hearing date within 30 school days for mid-year appeals and 40 school days for normal admission round appeals.
