On behalf of the staff, parents, and children of St Michael’s Church of England Primary School, we warmly welcome you to our website.

At St Michael’s, we are deeply aware of the privilege and responsibility we have in helping shape the lives of the children entrusted to our care. Inspired by the teachings of Jesus, we place our children at the heart of everything we do—recognising that they are not only our present, but also our future.

Proverbs 22:6 guides our purpose: "Start children off on the way they should go, and even when they are old they will not turn from it." Each child arrives at our school with their own unique background and experiences, and we are committed to celebrating this diversity. At the same time, we provide a clear and nurturing path for their academic, social, emotional, moral, and spiritual development—laying strong foundations for today and for the future.

Whether children join us in the Foundation Stage or later in their educational journey, we strive to build a vibrant and inclusive school community. We do this by living out our vision and upholding our core Christian values of Love, Integrity, Creativity, and Resilience—through both our words and actions.

As a Church of England school, we believe that we do not walk this journey alone. Christ is with us every step of the way, offering strength and guidance. This shared faith gives our community a sense of security and unity, allowing us to make decisions built on solid foundations—foundations that can support and sustain each of us long into the future.
